How it works

Five straightforward steps — no account, subscription, or software installation.

  1. Upload your PDF

    PDF only, up to 15MB and 50 pages. We'll show your exact price — $1.99 for the first 10 pages — before you pay anything.

  2. Add the recipient and your email

    A US or Canada fax number for the destination, and your email so we know where to send delivery status and a receipt.

  3. Pay securely

    Card details are handled directly by Stripe — FaxStamp never sees or stores them. Your card is authorized now, but not charged yet.

  4. We send it

    Transmission starts after payment authorization. If the line is busy or there's no answer, we automatically retry up to 2 more times — up to 3 total attempts. Your card is only charged once delivery is confirmed.

  5. You get a confirmation

    We send an email when delivery is confirmed or after all attempts fail. If delivery fails, we release the authorization automatically, or refund a charge that was already captured. The PDF is then deleted from our servers.

Faxes are delivered to the destination fax system — that confirms the transmission succeeded, not that a specific person has read the document.
