FaxStamp is operated by Sparkman Group LLC. This page explains what we collect when you use FaxStamp to send a fax, and how it's used.
What we collect
To process and support a fax, we collect:
- the PDF you upload;
- the recipient's fax number;
- your email address, to send delivery status and a receipt;
- the original filename, file size, page count, and a SHA-256 file fingerprint;
- embedded PDF metadata when present, such as title, author, creator, producer, and document creation date;
- transaction information, including price, status, timestamps, payment and carrier identifiers, delivery costs, and failure details; and
- first-touch acquisition information: landing-page path, referrer hostname, and UTM source, medium, campaign, content, and term values.
Payment card details are entered directly into Stripe's payment form and go straight to Stripe — we never receive or store your full card number.
How we use it
We use this information to send your fax, confirm delivery, process payment, email you the outcome, provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, resolve payment disputes, keep accounting records, and understand which marketing pages and campaigns lead to completed faxes. We don't use your fax content or recipient number for advertising, and we don't sell personal data.
Analytics and rejected uploads
Public marketing pages use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page views and performance. This can include the page path, referrer, country, device type, browser, and operating system. The analytics beacon is not loaded on the job-specific send, payment, or status pages.
When an upload is rejected, we may record the IP address, original filename, file size, rejection category, and technical details so we can diagnose abuse and failed uploads. Successful uploads are recorded with the fax transaction instead.
Third parties involved in sending your fax
We use Stripe to process payment, Telnyx to transmit the fax over the telephone network, and Cloudflare to host FaxStamp, store your file while it's in transit, screen for automated abuse with Cloudflare Turnstile, and provide analytics on public marketing pages. Each handles the information necessary to perform its part of the service under its own privacy terms.
How long we keep things
Your uploaded PDF is deleted once your fax is delivered, once a permanent failure and its payment release or refund are resolved, or automatically after about 2 hours if you never finish paying for it. Rejected-upload records are automatically deleted after three days. Transaction records, document fingerprints, embedded metadata, and acquisition attribution do not currently have a separate automatic deletion schedule; they are retained for accounting, fraud prevention, support, and payment-dispute purposes.
Your choices
Email support@faxstamp.com with questions or requests concerning the data associated with a fax you sent. We may need information from the confirmation email to identify the transaction, and we may retain information when required for accounting, fraud prevention, disputes, or other legal obligations.
Children
FaxStamp isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the effective date above.
